Booked a horse riding trip and man it was an absolutely amazing experience the whole ride was full of beautiful nature and our guide was so sweet and nice she made it be so fun! We went to the mill and surrounding buildings after and that’s where we met Ed in the art gallery, he was an absolute charmer and so sweet! He knew so much about the art in the building and was so extremely kind. He answered all our questions and we left with a hand crafted belt buckle and a Stetson hat. Absolutely beautiful place to visit such a fun time! 10/10 recommend. We were visiting from WA state and man the beauty of Montana is just as good as WA.

Really really cool place. Definitely worth a stop on your way down the 90. Favorite place is the loft above the gallery. The cabin history is worth reading about and you can use the looms to make your own napkins, scarves or table runners. Great place to stop on our way to Yellowstone. We had breakfast sandwiches and waffles, coffee and a delicious cinnamon roll! We really enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and visiting all the different shops. My husband really enjoyed his discovery of the beautiful brooms (think Harry Potter gift). A wonderful place!  The dinner was terrific, the staff very friendly.  petting zoo for the kids and adults. Friendly dog named Pepper. The bonus was we were allowed to stay overnight in our RV.  Do not miss this gem!  Most strongly recommend!

This is so much more than a place to eat. Although don’t make a mistake of skipping lunch. This location has so many things to do. It’s perfect for families or solo and honestly would make a beautiful venue for a wedding. There is a petting zoo, a playroom and a corn pit specifically for kiddos. There is a handcrafted, leather and iron goods along with various art pieces in the gallery. There is a wool craft studio where you can make your own woven pieces or buy yarn and already made pieces. There is a soap and candle room and everything will smell amazing. Why I stopped originally there is a cheese cave where you can taste artisan cheeses and get local made food products if you want to watch the cheese being made they currently are doing that on Fridays and are talking about expanding it to Fridays and Monday.
There’s also a restaurant that specializes in Panini’s and milkshakes. It might be one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had.
Wheelchair accessibility. This place is actually quite accessible. There are a couple barriers that I will list here so that you’re aware. There are accessible parking spots in both sides of the parking lot and most of the trails are paved or hard packed gravel. There are a couple places on the gravel paths where they transition to a pave path where the transition is worn away a little bit so there might be a bump up of about an inch. And all of the doors are heavy, quite heavy. If you want to go down into the cheese cave, there is a lift that’s located by the children’s playroom. It’s one of the ones where you have to hold the button the whole time and even a little bit after you arrive otherwise the door will not unlock. The bathrooms are a little bit tight inside the mill, but the ones up by the children’s playroom and the soap store are very accessible, but the door is heavy

We had such a great experience at Greycliff Mill! We went horseback riding and Daniel was our guide. He was awesome, and the views along the ride were absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a prettier day to be out enjoying Montana. 🐴🏔️

We also loved seeing all the beautiful horses, the adorable barn kitties, and the chickens.  After our ride, we enjoyed walking around the property, checking out the little shops, grabbing some food, and just taking in the whole area.

Such a beautiful, unique place with so much charm. Definitely worth the stop, and the horseback riding was one of our favorite parts of the day! ❤️
